The Riverdale star has kept notably tight-lipped about whether or not she and costar Cole Sprouse are dating ever since rumors about the two set off last year.
While Lili and Cole have taken vacations together and have been photographed canoodling, the actors have yet to publicly confirm if they’re #Bughead irl.

In a new interview with Seventeen, the 21-year-old actress finally explained why she’s kept so coy about the speculation: because it’s none of your damn business, that’s why!
She revealed:
“Every time someone asks me about it, I make a decision then and there about whether I’m comfortable. It’s not like I’m in some kind of contract, but I’m not in the place where I want to talk about it, and that’s totally fine.”
Yup, totally fine to toy with the entire Riverdale fandom. As long as you’re comfortable, Lil!
The Ohio native added that being a public figure doesn’t mean she’s obligated to disclose every detail about her private life:
“It’s called a private life for a reason├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it’s mine, and it’s special and sacred. My relationships are between me and whomever I’m with, not between me and the world.”
We guess only Lili and Cole know if Lili and Cole are dating — and Cole is probably just as in the dark as we are.
The Suite Life alum told the magazine that his younger years were spent “trying to be perceived as some kind of playboy” when he was actually “someone who spent 90 percent of his day playing video games.” Ha!
If Lili really is dating Cole, at least we know it’s something “sacred.”
