Actress Rooney Mara has snagged the role of Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher‘s upcoming film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
Rooney, who was most recently seen in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, will star opposite Daniel Craig in the movie that begins shooting in Sweden this fall.
Wow!
Big congrats to Rooney — there were a LOT of well-known actresses vying for that role.
