This is turning out to be one star studded show!
Rosario Dawson is the latest high profile actress to join up with Netflix’s newest Marvel series Daredevil, and her role sounds highly intriguing!
Rosario Dawson will play “a dedicated young woman whose quest to heal the wounds of Hell├óΓé¼Γäós Kitchen brings Matt Murdock unexpectedly crashing into her life, while her own journey forever alters the course of his battle against the injustices of this broken city”.
Rosario joins a cast that already has announced parts for Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox, the latter of whom will play Matt Murdock – the man who becomes the superhero known as Daredevil!!!
Here’s what Marvel├óΓé¼Γäós Head of Television Jeph Loeb said:
“Rosario Dawson is one the most charismatic, talented and powerful actresses in Hollywood, so she was always at the top of our list for ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’. Her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock’s journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil.”
Daredevil will begin production in New York City this summer, and will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2015.
And we are definitely excited to see what these ultra talented actors are able to do with this rich and historic material!
Plus, it isn’t like this is Rosario’s first time acting in something based off a comic book. She only was ah-mazing in a little film called Sin City, and looks hot as fuzz in its coming-soon-to-theaters sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For!!!
Props to the casting director for making seemingly fantastic choices so far!!!
