Florida recently banned keeping hammerhead sharks after catching them while fishing because the shark’s numbers are dwindling and they’re so important to the ecosystem.
So some controversy was stirred when photos of Rosie O’Donnell appeared on the internet, showing her with a dead hammerhead shark.
The pictures of her and her family are from a long time ago, well before the ban went into effect but still, murdering hammerheads for fun has never been a totally socially acceptable hobby.
At least the hammerheads are safe now, thanks to the ban.
