McQueen Isn't Quite Ready For A Couture Line

Alexander McQueen may not have a couture line right now, but there are plenty of signs one could be on the horizon.
Sarah Burton, who is creating five bespoke orders right now, said:

“We do so many collections, and I want each one to be special. There is always a lot done by hand, even for the pre-collection. I know this is not Paris couture, but in our humble way we are working towards it.”

The label’s incorporation of intricate hand-work is something that could ultimately lead to a couture line since it’s a huge part of the company’s heritage.
Fingers crossed that McQueen couture isn’t too far away!
