Nice veil!
Wearing Louis Vuitton and looking sassy, Sarah Jessica Parker turns the April cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK into something out of a masquerade ball!
The actress is thankfully not Photoshopped to death like some of her past magazine appearances, and looks radiant with a big, genuine smile on her face.
Inside the spread, SJP rocks a strapless pink Zac Posen gown that would only make sense in an editorial, and she talks shoes!
Sarah recalls the conversation with Manolo Blahnik about coming up with her own shoe line, saying:
“Having played this character for so long who had such a love of shoes ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and, you know, some might say a reckless desire to have them ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ I just thought, ├óΓé¼┼ôThis is what I├óΓé¼Γäód really like to do now.├óΓé¼┬¥ I called him and said, ├óΓé¼┼ôI have this crazy idea├óΓé¼┬ª├óΓé¼┬¥├óΓé¼Γäó
Crazy? We’d call it perfectly rational!
And even though as Carrie she wore a variety of footwear on Sex and the City, her favorite remains a pair of black Manolo suede BB pumps!
She said:
“I used to wear them 18 hours a day for the show and loved it…I still have all those shoes – anything I’ve ever worn in any movie or television show in my life is archived – but I really don’t shop that much.”
Why shop when you have everything you could ever dream of?
But she insists her closet is tiny, saying:
“Also, I have a small closet. It’s a mess! It looks fine to the naked eye, but things are shoved in every corner. Friends come round and say, ‘But I have more clothes than you’.”
We don’t buy it! She’s gotta have more clothes than anyone!
