Ohhhhh boy, are we ready for this?? Are we ready for this change??
Google has showed off its driverless car again — something we’ve only seen on closed courses until now — this time during a demonstration right outside of its offices!
Those who got a ride said things like, “That was amazing,” and, “I really do trust technology.” No reports have been released on how extensive the demo was, or if the car is now making them do its bidding.

There are no regulations yet for these cars, but the DMV gave special permission for the show. We’re not even sure how you begin to regulate something like this so it’s just as safe as manually driven cars.
Nevada seems to be the most progressive about it, even allowing the tests on state roads and highways!
They’re cool… but also kinda creepy!
If they can guarantee our safety somehow, at least as safe as we usually are when we drive, we’ll be all for it.
