Simon Cowell: Getting Britney Spears Was A Battle!

Booking Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as new X Factor judges, may have been the all-time best decision Simon Cowell EVER made!
We all know fabulous things do NOT come easy. So, it’s not shocking that getting Brit to sign on the dotted line was ~~tough~~ a freak’n battle!
After making the big announcement, Cowell admited:

├óΓé¼┼ôRight up until today, I wasn’t 100 percent sure it was going to happen or not. Because when you’re negotiating with people like that who are big stars, you don├óΓé¼Γäót just sign the contract overnight. There’s stuff you’ve got to sort out.”

And by “stuff” he means dealing with Brit Brit’s team! Cowell continues:

├óΓé¼┼ôI remember her manager, Larry, saying, ├óΓé¼╦£Britney wants to speak to you├óΓé¼Γäó and about a week had passed and she got on the phone and said ├óΓé¼╦£Simon, I want to tell you I’m in, and we have a deal.├óΓé¼Γäó [Her manager] said, ├óΓé¼╦£We haven├óΓé¼Γäót quite got a deal yet!’… She spoke too soon.├óΓé¼┬¥
