Sofia Richie is doing her own thing right now and handling her newly single life just fine, thank you very much!
The 22-year-old had been dating Scott Disick for more than two years before the pair initially ended things amicably in May. Two months later they were back on again and ready to give it another go, but things quickly fizzled the second time, too, and now they’ve gone their separate ways. But don’t think for one second that the Flip It Like Disick star got the best of the young model!

New info from insiders close to Lionel Richie‘s daughter indicates she “isn’t upset” about the now-permanent split from the 37-year-old reality TV veteran. In fact, in speaking to Us Weekly about Sofia’s newly single lifestyle and future outlook after her 22nd birthday, which was on Monday, one source revealed how things are full-speed ahead for the pretty young starlet — Scott be damned:
“Her friends and family have been surrounding her with so much love and support, especially for her birthday, so that’s been a nice distraction for her. She had such a nice dinner celebration with her family and now she’s having the best trip with her friends.”
They added pointedly:
“She is not thinking about Scott at all right now.”
Well then!
We hear the insider slipped all this to Us in a note after study hall.
In all seriousness, it’s probably a good thing Sofia is moving on, especially considering Scott’s clear re-focus back onto his baby momma, Kourtney Kardashian. Scott and Kourtney have long had a good co-parenting relationship, previously devoting all their collective energy into sons Mason, 10, and Reign, 5, and 8-year-old daughter Penelope, even at the expense of their own previous relationship. But now, sparks are flying, and persistent social media flirtation has snowballed into rumors of something more.

Seeing Sofia settle into the single life all but paves a clear path for Scott and Kourt to get back together and live happily ever after. We may be getting a little ahead of ourselves with that second part, of course, but the writing is on the wall (er, the social media pages) for the perfect KUWTK storybook ending. You on board with that, momager Kris Jenner?
The only question left then is, well, where does Sofia end up from here? At 22, she’s got her whole life to live and no rush to get there. Judging by the source (above), too, it sounds like she’s content with where she’s at after splitting from Lord Disick. Peaceful!
Besides, it’s not like Sofia doesn’t have a consistent KarJenner connection remaining, anyways; don’t forget how close she is with makeup mogul Kylie Jenner! From the sounds of their recent hangouts, we can assume it’s pretty safe to say that friendship isn’t going to dissolve any time soon.
And so all seems quiet in the KarJenner Kingdom, doesn’t it? For now, at least…
