Now, that Supergirl has officially flown over to its new home at The CW, it’s clear Kara Zor-El will feel right at home with her fellow DC Comics heroes!
And to prove it, the network dropped a new CW-y teaser for their newest superhero on Thursday!
The clip shows Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) interaction with The Flash (Grant Gustin) from their crossover episode, and also teases a remixed, youthful tone that makes us wonder why this show was ever on CBS in the first place!

CW president Mark Pedowitz echoed that sentiment at Thursday’s upfronts, asserting that the younger appealing network is “where [the series] should have been in the first place.”
And now that SG is officially fighting crime in the CW’s jurisdiction, the network is planning an epic four-way crossover event for the fall — pairing the Girl of Steel with The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!
Pedowitz was confident that executive producer Greg Berlanti will ensure that “our annual crossover event this fall (will) be the biggest one ever.” AH-Mazing!

As for rumors that Calista Flockhart would not continue her supporting role after the production’s budget-saving move to Vancouver, the executive said the actress still wants to continue the series, and discussions were in progress following the series’ switch up.
Either way, it sounds like Supergirl will continue to save the day, and look more hip doing it!
