Production on Michelle Williams‘ new film has been delayed to allow her to grieve the loss of Heath Ledger.

The movie was set to begin production late next month.

“We will hold off until she is ready,” says a source connected with the film. “The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her.”

Williams had finished filming her final scene in another film being shot in Sweden when she found out the awful news of Ledger’s passing.

The actress has been in seclusion and privately mourning since Heath’s death.
