Taylor Swift manifested her romance with Travis Kelce!
In a resurfaced 2011 interview with 60 Minutes, which was just featured again on the latest episode of the 60 Minutes: A Second Look podcast out on Wednesday, the pop star revealed the most important thing she was looking for in a relationship — and what she just so happened to find in the NFL star!

Back in the day, the Love Story artist reflected on her biggest wish for a future partner. She shared in that 2011 chat:
“A relationship is the combination of two people and their comfort levels. It’s so heartbreaking when you have so many things line up, and so many things click, but your comfort level with fame is so different than [the person you’re dating]. ‘Cause I don’t care. Like, I’ll walk into a coffee shop with someone I’m in love with because I don’t care, cause I’m in love with them. It doesn’t matter to me who’s looking, but it does to some people.”
When asked if “maybe you couldn’t really have a good relationship with someone who cares that much,” the Anti-Hero hitmaker replied:
“It seems a little unnecessary to care that much about keeping people out.”
Whoa!
So interesting to hear her open up about this knowing how she handled some of her most recent romances! Take her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, for example! They spent SO much time in private. Sure, part of the romance overlapped with Taylor’s feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, which had her hiding out from the public for a year. But still! Joe was notoriously tight-lipped about every aspect of the relationship — and that was clearly a departure from what the Cats star really wanted!
Now that the Kansas City Chiefs player has stepped into the picture, they haven’t been shy about flaunting some PDA, heading out for public dates, and supporting each other at their various jobs — no matter how much attention their every move gets! They’re just living their lives and navigating the spotlight flawlessly!
Oh, and by the way, from the very beginning, Travis has always been very embracing of his girlfriend’s fame!! He told WSJ. Magazine last November:
“I’ve never dealt with it. But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it…. The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange.”
Earlier this month while speaking with CBS Mornings, he was asked what it’s like to be the singer’s arm candy, and he gushed:
“The life I chose, I guess. I have fun with it.”
The sweetest!
Love that after all this time, she finally found someone to check this box!
