If you ever want to majorly freak out Taylor Swift, show her a picture of a sea urchin. Better yet, hand her one. A sea urchin, not a picture.
Yep, Taylor is seriously afraid of sea urchins, those little spiky things you can find while snorkeling or hanging out on the ocean floor!

On Thursday, Tay visited the Ellen Degeneres show to discuss her totally random fear with Ellen and the bizarre conversation between the pair is just hilarious.
In the clip, Taylor reveals her irrational thoughts on sea urchins, like that the (mostly) harmless creatures could cause her to lose her foot and/or hand. The Out of the Woods singer even went as far to liken sea urchins to GRENADES!
Ellen tried (unsuccessfully) to quell Swift’s fears with a cold hard fact to dispute her crazy claims: sea urchins can cause swelling and redness-AT MOST.
Sadly, poor Taylor remained unconvinced by the end of the interview (above) and for all we know, she’s still terrified by sea urchins.
We guess we won’t see Tay snorkeling in the Caribbean anytime soon!
