Everyone wants to know Taylor Swift‘s secrets in writing the AH-Mazing songs on her 1989 record — but no one more than the guy who covered them all!
Ryan Adams put his spin on the songstress’s chart-topping album back in September — and while the lyrics remained the same, the meaning of the songs became totally different!
At least, that’s what Tay said when the indie rocker interviewed her for her recent GQ cover shoot!

In the interview, the Wildest Dreams hitmaker talks about where her song inspiration comes from, revealing that a dream about her ex once gave her an idea for a song lyric!
After Adams explained he listens to The Smiths when he has trouble writing, Taylor revealed that she watched a bunch of John Hughes movies when writing 1989! She said:

1989 I wrote when I was single, I didn’t have much intense drama going on…So, to access those emotions again, I would put myself into other people’s perspectives.”

So, we can all thank Molly Ringwald for Swift’s latest string of hits! Maybe Bad Blood is actually about Ally Sheedy! LOLz!
