It’s no secret Taylor Swift has not been treated very well by the NFL fandom at large. The NFL itself is a business — and like most smart businesses they don’t shoot themselves in the foot by gatekeeping new fan demographics out. But enough Brads and Chads made it all too clear Tay isn’t safe in their world that she usually only feels comfortable cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce when he’s playing at home in Kansas City.
But this Sunday he’s playing in the Super Bowl, and that’s a game she’ll have to make an exception for. But how dangerous will it be really? Honestly, it’s about as bad as it could be.
See, the Kansas City Chiefs and facing the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, and while the Philly team members all seem like decent guys, there’s a whole orchard’s worth of bad apples in their fanbase. We’ve seen videos of them bullying random fans from the visiting teams. And now some have made it clear Taylor Swift is on their s**tlist.

They made merch — towels and t-shirts — that actually say, “F**K TAYLOR SWIFT” — only with a few choice letters replaced with the Eagles logo:

Ugh.
You’d think since she and her family grew up Philly fans they’d cut her some slack. But they apparently hate her even more for being a *traitor*.
There were a lot of responses on X (Twitter) dragging the uncalled-for bullying — something that does NOT happen with other WAGs:
“This is weak.”
“There’s no place for this in sports.”
“Ahh Eagles fan here don’t love it, I get it, but don’t love it, just beat the Chiefs on the field”
“This is weird, plain and simple”
“This isn’t it”
“That’s petty & terrible. She’s just one of the many, many celebs that will be there. She has no influence on the game.”
“Most uncivilized fan base in the NFL!”
“I can assure you no legit eagles fan made this or cares for it in any way shape or form”
Unfortunately, there were just as many — if not more — comments that showed support for it:
“Nah this is the best thing Philly has done in a while.”
“Where can I get one please!!!”
“I need 1,000,000 of those”
“I like it. Tired of seeing her plastered on the TV every chiefs game”
“need this. f**k that bitch!”
No wonder she doesn’t travel with the team when there’s this kind of vitriol. That last comment, we mean… All it takes is one taking it too far. Ugh.
