Taylor Swift is America’s new sweetheart and that is usually a testament to the folks that raised her.
Taylor reveals on her MySpace blog that for her tour this summer, she brought along her dad for moral support. She explains they have been having a blast, but sometimes he can be somewhat of a trickster: “[I’m] walking into the hotel lobby after returning from dinner. It’s a quiet, serene, beautiful when ├óΓé¼┬ª Screaming voice from out of nowhere: ‘HEY! THAT’S TAYLOR SWIFT!!’ Me: ‘Dad. Please stop doing that.’ ” Ha!
We would do that to our kids too!
But Taylor admits that while it can be embarrassing, it’s a blessing to have her dad along for the ride.
“It’s pretty priceless having my dad out here with me.”
Aw. How sweet!
We bet Miley Cyrus wishes Billy Ray was this much fun. But, then again, she makes all the money so if she wanted she could buy herself a new dad!
