We begged Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley to tell their daughter the truth about Mommy’s prison predicament.
But a source close to the former Teen Mom stars says they have crafted a different story. The source says:
“Amber and Gary are going with the idea that she is away shooting a film in California. This is their cover; they don├óΓé¼Γäót want to tell Leah that she├óΓé¼Γäós actually in prison – because they├óΓé¼Γäóre not sure she would understand and don├óΓé¼Γäót want her thinking worse of her mom.”
A fake Hollywood movie? Sounds like life imitating Argo! Do they really think they can keep this up? The source says:
“…the problem is, everyone at Leah├óΓé¼Γäós daycare knows that Amber is her mom and that she├óΓé¼Γäós in prison, there├óΓé¼Γäós no hiding that fact. So, it├óΓé¼Γäós only a matter a time before Leah overhears it, and that has got Amber and Gary in a panic that she will find out what├óΓé¼Γäós going on before they tell her.”
They’re worried she’s going to find out before they tell her? We have a simple solution for that: TELL HER!
The poor girl needs to know the situation! People may judge, but they respect someone who is honest and unashamed. And children forgive more easily than most.
