Goonies Director Confirms That A Sequel Is In The Works!

Over the weekend, Goonies director Richard Donner was out signing some autographs in Beverly Hills, when he was asked about a sequel to the 1985 cult classic.
His squeal-worthy answer was simply, “We’re doing a sequel.├óΓé¼┬¥
zOMGGGGAAHHH!
The 83-year-old director went on to say that he hopes the original actors like Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, and Corey Feldman would be in it too, though it├óΓé¼Γäós not clear in what capacity.
We├óΓé¼Γäóre pretty sure Astin would love to be in it, since back in 2011 he said, ├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóm 1000 percent certain there will be a sequel. I will bet my children on it.├óΓé¼┬¥
Wow! That├óΓé¼Γäós a lot of certainty!
The other unknown is if the flick will be a sequel or something else, since Donner said in 2010 that he didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to do a remake.
It would be FAB if the original cast found a way into this movie, no?! And with all of their experience now, we├óΓé¼Γäóre sure it will be better than our wildest dreams!
