The Rosie Show Debuts To A Lackluster Start!

The OWN curse continues!
Rosie O’Donell‘s return to television with her new show on the network, The Rosie Show, apparently only garnered a total of 497,000 viewers to its premiere telecast last night at 7pm, which although is a vast improvement from last year during the Discovery Health days, is much less than the premiere of Why Not? With Shania Twain, which pulled in a little less than double that with 839,000!
However, Erik Logan, president of OWN, asserts:

“The new fall season on OWN is off to an encouraging start. This is the next right step as we continue to build the network.”

We certainly hope so!
But hey, if anyone can do it, it’s Rosie!
Gurl just needs a little time, we’d say!
