During his recent interview with MTV, Mike Sorrentino — The Situation — actually expanded on what it was like to be in rehab, now that he’s clean.
We’re just glad he’s sober!
Here’s what he said about the time in the facility:
“In the beginning, for sure, when I was (at the facility) in Utah, I’d wake up and just be extremely disappointed with myself. Like, ‘I can’t believe I got here. How did I get here?’ You hear stories all the time, you know, of celebrities and people just not even waking up. That could have been me.”
He even asserts that his problem was never booze, and didn’t include cocaine or marijuana addiction:
“I was never drunk (on Jersey Shore). I was the guy that was the ladies’ man. You can’t get girls if you├óΓé¼┬ª can’t speak to them.”
Regardless, he should probably stay away from that stuff so he doesn’t start substituting for the loss of painkillers.
Even though it won’t be the same without him, we’re not so sure it’s such a good idea to hit the clubs in the show — which he wants to do — because we’re fine with it feeling a little weird if it means he’s healthy and sober!
Keep it up, Mike! You can do it!
