Rumors are circulating that The Situation has fallen off the wagon 8 months after entering rehab for a prescription pill addiction, but he wants the world to know that’s just not true.
A witness said Mike was “downing so many cocktails” at a West Hollywood bar last Wednesday that “he could barely stand.”
His rep, however, claims “he has not been drinking” and the Jersey Shore star even talked about his sobriety while chatting with Ellen on Tuesday (above).
Pauly D and Ronnie backed him up too. The latter admitted he didn’t much like The Situation during earlier seasons, but was really happy to hang with him once he was sober. Similarly, Pauly said:
“Mike was my best friend when we first met. Throughout the years we started growing little distant and apart, so I was happy to see that he went to rehab. When he came back, I had my best friend back.”

We love the support they are showering him in because he needs it and will continue to even after the Jersey Shore party comes to an end.
We’re crossing our fingers that Mike is as sincere about his sobriety as he sounds!
UPDATE: A rep confirms Mike wasn’t drinking, the guests in the cabana were.
