The Weeknd Is Trying To Keep A Little 'Mystery' To His Personal Life

It might be a little too late, but The Weeknd is really not trying to have us all up in his personal life.
Featured in the 2017 Harper’s Bazaar Icons issue, Selena Gomez‘s boyfriend posed in an all black Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello suit in between models Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk for the mag’s edition that also showcases stars like Miranda Lambert, Travis Scott, Candice Swanepoel and Karlie Kloss.
For the interview done via email, the 27-year-old stressed the importance of maintaining a certain mystique with his personal life.

The singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, explained:

“I’m not in a rush to let people know everything about me. Mystery is always great.”

Adding:

“Luckily, the only thing the world demands of me is music. I don’t have to give them anything else for the rest of my life.”

When asked if he’d ever consider retiring from his stage name, the I Feel It Coming crooner admitted:

“Kind of like pulling a Ziggy Stardust. Maybe I’ll retire from being The Weeknd… maybe I’ll just give him a break.”

Um, yeah. Don’t go anywhere, bb.
