Some people, especially children, don’t realize that a pet is a 10 to 20-year responsibility.
As PETA puts it, its a financial and emotional responsibility.
If a family member knows what it really means to be an animal parent, PETA recommends waiting until the holidays are over.
And defiantly adopt your pet from shelter. Never buy.
Besides, who would want something that would cost them thousands of dollars and years of commitment sitting under the tree?
