Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren may have set the record for the quickest divorce in history: 15 minutes! Sources close to the situation say that the divorce happened so quickly so Tiger could get to an early tee time…(jk).
The judicial assistant, Kim Gibson, explained how they got in and out of the court house so quickly.
“They were all in agreement on everything. They were prepared. We’d do the same thing for anyone else who’s prepared.”
Woods and Nordegren made a surprise visit to the Bay County courthouse in order to avoid too much attention. It’s common for celebrities to go somewhere out of the way (in their case, 280 miles away from their home in Orlando) in order to file for divorce in peace.
Gibson described the divorced couple’s demeanor as “normal.” Neither were upset or emotional.
We’re glad it’s over. Now Elin can finally move on with her life, and Tiger can continue being a self-destructive asshole.
