A close call for the Chrisley family… but thankfully, everyone is going to be OK!
Todd Chrisley sparked considerable worry among the reality TV fam’s fans on Wednesday when he posted a pic to his official Instagram account showing the extended family crowding around a hospital bed. In the bed lay adult son Kyle, with what appeared to be an IV line in his arm — clearly, something serious had gone on, despite the big Chrisley smiles from everybody in the picture.

As you can see in the pic (below), things were evidently serious enough to call in some pretty heavy-duty medical help for the 27-year-old:

But now we finally know what happened; according to The Blast, at some point on Wednesday, Kyle had a bad reaction to an unnamed prescription medication he’s apparently been taking. Thankfully, though he’s hospitalized for the time being, the young man is expected to make a full recovery.
A spokesperson for the Chrisley Knows Best star reiterated as much in a statement about the incident (below):
“Kyle is fine. He had an adverse reaction to his medication. … [Now], he is doing great.”
Well that’s good!!!
Other than that, we don’t know much more about the drug itself, what caused the reaction, what the reaction was exactly, or the prognosis for getting him out of the hospital… but again, judging by all the smiling faces in the pic, as well as poppa Chrisley’s ‘NOT TODAY SATAN’ caption, we can surmise things are at least moving in the right direction.
Now, About The Rest Of Todd’s Life…
The reality TV patriarch has had a hell of a time in the public eye lately, as he’s busy feuding with estranged daughter Lindsie over an alleged sex tape and a possible extortion rap. The 50-year-old has repeatedly, forcefully denied any wrongdoing, though the FBI is still reportedly listening to witnesses and lining up evidence.

On top of that, Todd and his wife Julie (who is not Kyle’s mother, BTW) have been indicted for tax evasion and related charges, and there’s no shortage of ill-wishers out there with nary a good thing to say about the famous family. Not exactly the pretty family picture they were hoping to portray in 2019!!
