Well, we didn’t see this coming… But now that it’s here, we kind of love it: Tom Brady and Sofia Vergara are reportedly dating!
That’s right, Perezcious readers! The hot new couple of the summer of 2025 would appear to be the retired NFL legend and the bombshell Modern Family star. That’s what at least one insider is now alleging, at least. And even though we were tossed out of our chairs with shock when we first heard this report, we must admit… it’s growing on us!

On Wednesday, Page Six spoke to an insider who said the former football star and the A-list actress are enjoying a “summer romance.”
Oooh la la!
According to that source, things started to get hot and heavy about a week ago on the Luminara superyacht. A bunch of A-listers got on that yacht to set sail from Rome, Italy with Spain on the brain. Per the insider, the likes of Martha Stewart, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, Kate Hudson, and many more have been living it up. Tom and Sofia, too, it turns out!
And per that insider, the former New England Patriots signal caller and the Colombian-born television star supposedly started to get the hots for each other at one of this week’s gala dinners on board the big-ass boat!
The two even posed for photographs together while seated in tandem at dinner — and one of those photos made it onto Sofia’s Instagram account! Ch-ch-check out the jaw-dropping picture proof from THIS post she published last Tuesday:

Well, that seating arrangement was very much NOT by accident. The insider said this about Tom being the one to first push for a connection:
“He asked to switch seats to sit next to her at dinner.”
Something must have really clicked, too, because the pair didn’t part ways when the yacht trip was over, either! The source claims the 47-year-old gridiron great and Sofia — who turns 53 on Thursday — continued hanging out after the boat reached the port of Ibiza, Spain!
Sofia, of course, was previously married to Joe Manganiello. And Tom has a history of A-list love, from his past marriage to Gisele Bündchen to his former fling with Irina Shayk. (By the way, Shayk was also aboard the yacht last week, per that source. Awkward if this report is true!)
Anyways, Tom had reportedly been trying to shoot his shot with Sydney Sweeney back in Italy when A-listers descended on Venice for Amazon mogul Jeff Bezos‘ wedding to Lauren Sánchez. That didn’t go so well, tho. Perhaps he called an audible?? LOLz! Made a pass at a more eligible receiver??
