Could Tom Felton ever play James Bond??

Tom Felton recently spoke about his desire to go undercover with MI-6!
When asked about his “unfulfilled career ambition,” Tom lamented:
“I haven’t landed James Bond yet. Playing Bond or a Bond villain was why I wanted to do movies in the first place.”
Wow! We had no idea!
Is the Harry Potter star worried that he’ll never get a shot at Bond himself? Seeing as how he’s often typecast as the villain? Tom continued:
“I enjoy darker characters and humanizing people who seem villainous, but who might just be insecure or have their own problems. I’m not typecast, I am going for things further up the heroic scale. But I would be happy to play villainous roles for the rest of my life. Some of my favorite actors are known for playing villainous roles — Alan Rickman is one of my favorites.”
While we don’t think he can ONLY play villains, he sure does a great job of it!
