Tori Spelling Hilariously Pokes Fun At Her IRL Money Problems In 'BH90210' Premiere

Art imitated life during the series premiere of BH90210 on Wednesday night.

The OG gang of West Beverly High reunited for the new show, where the actors play heightened versions of themselves, and Tori Spelling‘s real life money problems were hilariously laid out on the table.

The 46-year-old started off the episode with her onscreen and IRL bestie Jennie Garth discussing her financial stresses.

While en route to Las Vegas for a Beverly Hills: 90210 reunion convention, Garth commented her BFF is “out of [her] mind,” as Spelling snaps videos and photos of the two for social media with rowdy boys in the back.

Miz Spelling whined:

“What I’m out of is money!”

The episode cut to show Tor and her fictional husband Nate at home filming an episode of their reality show, Tori & Nate: Spelling The Beans.

Not a bad title!

The 46-year-old complained while holding bills and a baby:

“All these bills! $842 for Mommy & Me yoga? Great, now I can’t do that anymore. Namaste here!”

After delivering her pun, the crew began to quickly pack up their equipment and tell the family the series has been canceled.

Back on the flight, Spelling told Garth:

“Stuff just keeps happening to me! And just when I think things are slowing down, boom, I fall on a hibachi.”

The Donna Martin portrayer was referencing her 2015 Benihana lawsuit, which was filed after she slipped and fell in an Encino, California location of the restaurant.

She continued, referencing the Operation Varsity Blues college bribery scandal which Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman Macy are currently caught up in, as a way she would have to get her fictional children into college:

“I need that paycheck. Mama’s got six kids! Do you know how much college bribery money I’m going to need? At least this reunion is going to cover our bills for a month!”

No money, mo problems!

Once off the plane and at the hotel, the jokes kept coming from Tori, who lamented the stars aren’t receiving any commission from merchandise sales at the reunion with their faces on them:

“No wonder I can’t pay my rent!”

After the crew got arrested for stealing Donna’s spring dance dress from season one of the original teen series, they each return to their own lives. The premiere episode ended with Tori and Jennie deciding a reboot of the show would not only solve Spelling’s money problems, but keep the good times rolling with their old friends. Kinda sounds like what probably happened IRL!

While the momma of five was able to joke on screen about her woes, she didn’t look too happy to get grilled about her real ones during a super awkward interview ahead of the show’s premiere.
