Just because you quote Dr. Martin Luther King, doesn’t mean we’re buying your crap!
Days after her partner in crime begged the public for money, Pleasant Bridgewater, one of the alleged extortionist in the John Travolta case, is taking to the streets to preach her innocence! Today, she had the nerve to quote a legend to defend her actions, saying:
“I do maintain my 100 per cent total and complete innocence and will defend myself. As one great writer said, ‘No lie will live forever’ and ‘truth crushed to the Earth will rise again.'”
We hope those are the first words that run through your mind when you get sentenced for a couple of decades in jail for extortion. Maybe then you will realize how poignant they are.
