We imagine this is the last time they’ll stream an entire episode on-line a week before it airs!
After a nearly recording breaking 5.424 million viewers tuned in for the fourth season premiere of True Blood, the follow-up episode was made watchable on-line nearly a week in advance, and apparently, it showed in the ratings this past Sunday night, which dropped 47%!
Only 2.9 million total watched the HBO series live, securing it a 1.5 demo rating!
Oopsie! Not the best marketing strategy, guys!
Don’t worry, though! We doubt the same mistake will be made again!
Gotta keep those ratings nice and high!
