A lot can change in just two short years…
When True Detective first premiered back in 2014, the Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson-led drama was being called the best show on TV!
However, lightning failed to strike twice as the second outing with Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, and Taylor Kitsch lost most of the critical acclaim that made the series a hit in the first place.

Well, it sounds as though HBO hated Season Two just as much as the rest of us… because we’re hearing that TD may not get renewed for Season Three!
While nothing has been confirmed, things aren’t looking good now that Nic Pizzolatto has signed on to other projects with the premium cable network.
