So Sad! Wolf Of Wall Street Consultant Barry Gesser Found Dead At 52

Sad news.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that one of the advisers to Jordan Belfort — who inspired the film The Wolf Of Wall Street — was found dead at 52 years old in his home in West Hollywood, CA.
Thankfully law enforcement sources have shared they don’t believe foul play was involved in Barry Gesser‘s passing.

It’s said that the former hedge fund manager was found by his housekeeper who had called 911 and that no signs of a suicide or trauma have been noted. In fact, Barry reportedly struggled with a drug problem in the past. Tragic.
However, when cops arrived there weren’t any paraphernalia or pills found on the scene. Here’s hoping that means drugs weren’t involved in this situation!
In case you forgot, the Wall Street expert made headlines back in February when his wife at the time, Stacey Alysson, found him in bed with socialite Dori Cooperman 15 days into their marriage. Oops!
The business vet was a key player for the Oscar nominated biopic as he served as a consultant to Martin Scorsese and Jonah Hill. The A-listers have yet to comment on this untimely death.
