We always suspected Wolverine had an Asian fetish, LOLz!
20th Century Fox just released The Wolverine’s official plot synopsis and, yes, a great portion of the film will take place in Japan.
Fox said:
“Based on the celebrated comic book arc, The Wolverine finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.”
This comes on the heels of a big Hugh Jackman revelation earlier this week when he reassured fans The Wolverine is NOT a sequel to his supremely disappointing Origins film from 2009.
We’re stoked to watch this series take off in a new direction and we think 3:10 to Yuma director James Manigold is the right man for the job.
