This is so disturbing. A woman in Florida was arrested this week on charges that she drowned her dog in an airport bathroom last year.
According to an arrest affidavit from the Orlando Police Department and obtained by WESH, 57-year-old Alison Agatha Lawrence went to the Orlando International Airport with her 9-year-old miniature schnauzer, Tywinn, for a flight to Colombia on December 16, 2024. However, she didn’t have the right paperwork and was told she couldn’t take the pup with her. Instead of getting the proper docs or finding someone to take her dog, she allegedly did something so extreme and cruel. A Greater Orlando Aviation Authority spokesperson told WESH that the woman drowned her dog in the toilet before going through security. What the f**k.

Per WFLA, the Orlando Police Department said officers were dispatched to the Orlando International Airport on December 16, 2024, after reports came in that a staff member found a dead dog in a women’s restroom.
WESH reports the affidavit stated the employee saw Lawrence on the stall floor cleaning up a large amount of water and dog food. The employee had an emergency and left the bathroom, but when she returned, she saw Lawrence leave the stall with only a purse and suitcase. The employee then went inside to remove the trash bag from the canister — and that is when she found the dog. Just so horrible.
Lawrence was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated animal abuse, a third-degree felony. She has since posted a $5,000 bond, per an arrest record obtained by People. Learn more about the case (below):
