The World's Most Expensive Barbie Sold At Auction

At least it was for a good cause!
The World’s Rarest Barbie by Stefano Canturi garnered $302,500 while up for auction at Christie’s New York on Monday to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The doll, which was bought by a private collector in Asia, is the most expensive Barbie to date.
And we know why! It was designed by Canturi himself, as he adorned the doll with three carats of white diamonds and a necklace with a one-carat Fancy Vivid Pink emerald-cut diamond from the Australian Argyle mine.
OMG! It’s a shame the person wearing it isn’t real.
