Affectionately named Peggy Leg, this chihuahua was born without one of her feet and she cannot walk.
But her rescuers at the Enchantment Chihuahua Rescue reached out to numerous universities for a prosthetic but they got something better for her.
A TITANIUM leg!
Peggy will make her way to North Carolina State where she’ll become the world’s smallest bionic dog.
The implant will merge with her natural structure, and it will be more “natural” for Peggy than a normal prosthetic.
