On Wednesday, the 23-year-old decided to amp up the energy surrounding his record Mind of Mine by revealing the album cover on Instagram!

While this is an invigorating moment for the soulful singer, plenty of people accused the artist of copying Lil Wayne‘s creative choice.

However, the former One Direction member is adamant that he didn’t steal the idea from the Lollipop performer. He took to Twitter to respond to the comparisons, saying:
