Woman Arrested For Drunkenly Breaking Into Zoo & Petting A Tiger -- But The REAL Consequence Is That She May Lose Her Hand!

no title
Well, we saw this coming.
A 33-year-old woman who drunkenly trespassed on to the property of the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska over the weekend suffered a severe injury when a tiger she was apparently trying to pet bit her.
And now she may lose her hand.

According to law enforcement reports, Jacqueline Eide was taken to the hospital by a friend on Sunday.
She was apparently so drunk and belligerent, hospital employees called the police to ensure their safety!
It was at that point police began putting together the break-in at the zoo with Eide’s injuries — which were so extensive that she may lose part of her hand!
Dennis Pate, executive director of the Omaha Zoo, said in a statement:

“The safety and security of our guests and animals are always a priority at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. Emergency phone numbers are printed on maps for guests to call in case of an emergency and security staff keep watch on grounds around the clock … We will continue to keep security a top priority for Zoo guests and animals.”

That’s all good and fine, but it’s not the animals’ fault that a drunk woman trespassed on zoo property and tried to pet a wild tiger!
The way we see it, she’s the one who broke the safety protocol and not the zoo OR the animal.

Eide has previously faced consequences for a lot of actions, including multiple other arrests in Omaha this year and nine convictions on her criminal record.
She has been convicted three times for driving while intoxicated (she even served jail time after her third conviction in 2011), and has others for obstruction of justice, disturbing the peace, and shoplifting.
For her zoo exploits on Sunday, Eide was cited for criminal trespass. Maybe the maiming will serve as a wake-up call…
What do U think??
