Hey, George Jones: We’re sorry that no one really remembers who the hell you are, but that is no reason to hate on Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift!
The elderly country western singer isn’t too pleased with the ladies’ fusion of country and pop music and recently accused them of “stealing their identity” and sullying it to make it into the mainstream.
George says:
├óΓé¼┼ôThey├óΓé¼Γäóre definitely not traditional country music. It├óΓé¼Γäós good to know that we still do traditional country music. Alan Jackson still does it, so does George Strait. We still have it, and there├óΓé¼Γäós quite a few of us that are going to hope that it comes back one of these days.”
Yeah, we don’t think either of those guys care and neither should you!
You and that chip on your shoulder need to head on back to the nursing home and just keep quiet.
