Since all the publicity and success of this movie, it is hard to get a seat at our local Indian food restaurant! Their food has always been amazing and over the years I worried for their survival. No one was ever in there. Now, no worries at all!

Why isn't the title on the top of the magazine say Vogue India? Why is it printed in English? Obama's Indians! What does that mean?

Um, no she isn't, just google any pictures of her at Red Carpet events and she looks similar, bright lights will lighten anybody up a small amount, and in person she is not much darker than that.
India is a large country with many different looking people.

Because there are over a billion people in India and guess what, some of them are wealthy or middle class and do buy things like Vogue, as for the reason it's in english… Because English is one of the two official languages in India. Many smaller ethnic groups speak other languges and NOT just Hindi, so English is the one language that unites most of the country. you may want to crack open a book before you go off on a rant.

Easy there…India has lovely. clean cities and a huge consumer middle class. Also India's youth is very educated and hardworking…our youth? not so much! The global economy is shifting (thus the steep recession) so be a bit more humble. We have slums in Phoenix and Cali due to foreclosures.
Re: gaylove – India has a TON of extremely wealthy and well-to-do people. But they also have a lot of people in slums which tends to get the most publicity and is, therefore, what most people associate India with.

If you go OUT of the village-y areas and into the big cities, there are so many educated and wealthy/middle class people. If India is as terrible as yall think it is, there wouldn't even be a Vogue, let alone a Vogue in english would there? -.-

I feel totally unnecessary for Indians to have a Vogue, I have many Indian friends and believe me they know better tricks to take care of your skin and your health than any Vogue mag… that's what I totally love from India, how they make the simpler thing a beauty miracle!
