Britney Spears is digging her own grave!
The frequent and habitual drug user thinks she's above the law and she surrounds herself with enablers who encourage that false belief.
On Thursday, a judge rightfully suspended Spears' visitations with her kids until she complies with all court orders, specifically submitting to drug tests, which she has failed to do.
In addition to her losing baby battle, Unfitney is also fighting those hit and run charges from August for which she had to surrender herself to police this week to be booked.
Now Unfitney's attorney, Michael Flanahan, is trying to blame the paparazzi on Spears' erratic driving.
Blame the paparazzi? Britney loves the paparazzi! She courts the paparazzi! She has deals with the paparazzi!
Flanahan argues Spears is always driven to distraction by the photogs' flashbulbs going off in her face and he says that prosecutors looking to make an example of the former pop star should take that into consideration.
Says her attorney, "Remember, she's surrounded by 30, 40, 50 photographers taking her picture. There's a little bit of distraction and she's concentrating on more things than her driving."

I have to speak in defense of Lynne Spears, even though she helped create what Britney is today by pimping her out at a young age in such a provocative way. Anyone who has dealt with an addict or addictive, self-destructive behavior knows that ultimately, you can't do anything for them. They have to do it for themselves. I'm sure there have been several interventions in the past. At some point you just have to walk away yourself and stay out of the path of destruction, and self-destruction, that can destroy the fabric of a relationship. At least Lynne has been focused on the grandchildren as they are innocents here. But Britney is 25 and has been a legal adult for some time. People need to stop expecting her mother to step in and save her. I'm sure she's already tried many times and is in anguish over this. I'm sure that's why Britney can't keep lawyers, managers and assistants either. They've all tried. This girl is a self-destructing time bomb and it's very sad.

That's part of her disease. She's bipolar and a drug abuser. That's a dual diagnosis, and the most difficult for clinicians to treat. Denial is the core of dual diagnosis. Denial, in Britney's case, has a lot to do with her upbringing in the south, where mental illness is still very, very stigmatized. If the family is waiting on Britney to WANT HELP, it ain't going to happen. The only thing that can save her now is an intervention and court-ordered commitment. If her family love her, they will go ahead with the court-ordered commitment. Nothing else will work at this point. Losing her kids wasn't enough to jolt her. She's in deep denial. She won't "want to get better." She's going to have to be MADE to get better. And this CAN be done through having her committed to an institution that specializes in dual diagnosis treatment.
