The autopsy of actress Brittany Murphy has been completed by the Coroner, but the cause of death has yet to be determined as they are awaiting the results from toxicology reports as well as the studies of her tissues, organs and brain.
The amount and kind of prescriptions found in Brittany’s home have been revealed including Topamax for migraines and seizures, the anti-inflammatory Metylprednisolone, Fluoxetine for depression, Klonopin for anxiety, Carbamazepine for Diabetes and bipolar disorder, Ativan for anxiety, Vicoprofen for pain, Propranolol for hypertension and heart attack prevention, Biaxin an antibiotic, Hydrocodone for pain and various vitamins.
Yikes!
Brittany also had a history of hypoglycemia for which she was recently hospitalized for back in April while on location in Oregon.
The prescriptions found were all in Brittany’s name and empty containers were also found with her husband’s, mother’s and other third parties’ names on the bottle.
Her body appeared “normal” and not overly thin with no evidence of trauma to the body.
The results of the tests are expected back within 4 to 6 weeks when the Coroner will declare a cause of death.
