While it's unclear why the ID was even necessary seeing as how the artist knew it was Amanda, according to an employee, Amanda would have had to fill out a medical form anyway requiring disclosure of known illnesses.
After reports that her parents had denied her lodging, it appears that Amanda Bynes does have a place to stay after all! She just doesn't like the digs.

According to sources, Amanda's parents actually got her a room at a hotel in Glendale after she was released from the psychiatric facility.
