Candy Spelling Lands Two Jobs

wenn2689378cs.jpg

She's going to be a busy lady — especially since she's been taking her grandmotherly duties more seriously!

Candy Spelling will be on the panel for Ryan Seacrest's upcoming E! show Bank of Hollywood, a show that allows everyday people to ask the panelists to invest in their particular cause.

Ryan convinced Spelling to participate and Candy says, "I'm happy I did it… It gives us a chance as panelists to make differences in people's lives. And that was like 'Wow.'"

Candy is also producing a revival of Promises, Promises on Broadway, which is set to open in April. Candy is embracing her new roles in life saying:

"I'd always been very shy because my husband was the best storyteller. We didn't need two of them in the house, and I enjoyed just listening to him. But now I'm by myself, I need to go out and talk to people. I can't just be reclusive."

She also had nothing but great things to say about daughter Tori Spelling's talents now that the two are in touch again!

"She's an incredible all-around actress. She's always loved comedy and really shines in it, but she's a great dramatic actress."

Wow, she really is her mother!

We don't think anyone else would give such high praise about Tori's acting abilities!

But nice to know the two ladies are getting along. Congrats.

Candy Admits The Feud Got Out Of Hand

2524316spellings__opt1.jpg

Candy Spelling is speaking out on the feud between her and her once estranged daughter Tori Spelling.

So much for keeping this whole reconciliation "private".

Candy tells Us Weekly: "We both decided to [communicate] privately, so I know that everyone will respect that because it kind of got out of hand when it wasn't the other way."

And as for finally meeting her grandkids, the grandmother of two beamed that Stella is "adorable" and that both of the tots "are the most beautiful children".

Since the family is no longer at each others throats they will also be seeing each other over the holidays.

And she can't wait to shower Liam and his sister with presents. Grandma Money Bags Spelling reveals:

"Of course, I have to have things for them to unwrap, so they know coming to grandma's is a fun place where I have their toys and they get new toys. But I don’t let them take them home. They have to play with them at my house."

We think that's called blackmailing, Candy, but at least you can enjoy your grandkids for the holidays!

Candy Finally Paid The Maid!!!!

wenn52073642__opt.jpg

But, it wasn't much!

Candy Spelling has reportedly settled a lawsuit filed by Lourdes Serrano, her former maid.

The case was settled last Tuesday, but Serrano didn't quite get what she was hoping for. And considering Candy, who is a multit-millionaire ,made her clock out for her 10-minute breaks and was an overall tightwad, we're sad to hear it!

Apparently, someone from Spelling's camp said, "Maybe in maid money it's a lot."

Real nice, biatch!

Ryan Seacrest & Candy Spelling Working Side-By-Side???

ryanwenn5363981.jpg

We don't get it!

It's not like Ryan Seacrest needs the work or the money, so why is he degrading himself ?!

The American Idol host/radio DJ/ E! News bitch is now heading a new show for E! called The Bank of Hollywood. The new show will find contestants pitching money-making ideas to business leaders with Sean Patterson (the head of a modeling agency) as the main judge and other "well known" celebrities guest hosting.

Taping for the first episode starts this week and rumor has it Candy Spelling is attached to be the other judge.

Because the first name we think of when we think business is CANDY! If she is the best the show can get for it's premiere episode, it's doomed before it even begins!

Tori And Dean And His Ex Wife?!

wenn2590699.jpg

Although she's a mediawhore of the written word, Dean McDermott's ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace has no intention of entering into the exploitative world of reality TV.

In her book Divorce Sucks, Eustace claims that she was approached by producers of Tori and Dean to appear on the show for a drama-inducing good time.

And it would have been scandalous!

McDermott cheated on the Canadian TV chef with Tori Spelling while they were still married in 2006!

Yikes!

Producers suggested that the scorned ex move in next door or take the "organic" route and have a two to three hour confrontation with Tori!

We had no idea that Tori and Dean was a middle-aged The Hills!

Eustace toyed with the idea of appearing on the show, but decided against it to protect her son.

"I have managed to keep my son off the reality show and cast him in his very own and wonderfully private life," she said. "I mean, seriously — remember the Diff'rent Strokes kids? Enough said."

Maybe her and Candy Spelling should have a chat!

Candy Spelling Gets Her Own TV Show!

wenn-tori-and-candy__opt1.jpg

Obviously, it was only a matter of time before Candy Spelling used her public feud with daughter Tori Spelling to pave the way for her own TV show.

Candy has announced that she will be having her own series, though she insists that unlike her daughter's program, her show will be scripted, not a "reality show."

Newsflash, Candy: Most reality is scripted. Have you turned on The Hills ever?!

When asked about her mother swooping in on her territory, Tori remained very gracious, albeit taken aback by the news, and wished her "the best" with the endeavour. Not a hostile or negative remark left her lips.

Good call, Tori. Rise above.

Because you know your mother won't!

Tori Spelling Talks Candy!

wenn53336162__opt1.jpg

If only this wasn't just fodder for the press and became a conversation with a loved one!

In an interview with OK!, Tori Spelling opened up about the very delicate situation with her estranged mother, Rotten Candy:

Here are some HIGHlights:

On making amends:
“I definitely want to reconcile with my mother, but that’s the wrong word. There’s nothing that really happened that made us fight. It’s just time, distance and media that have come between my mom and me.”

On making changes:
“I just think that as long as we both keep it private from here on out, reconciliation is imminent. It will totally happen and I hope that she wants that.”

On Candy being a grandmother:
“I am proud of my kids, but I also want to make my mom proud of me. I’m still a momma’s girl at the heart of the situation. I look forward to the relationship that Liam and Stella will have with their grandmother one day and I’m confident that it will happen.”

Tori's husband, Dean, on family:
“I know the hurt because I have gone through it. I know what it’s like to hold out hope and for it to not pan out and to get your feelings hurt again and again. After a while, at the end of the day, you really have to protect yourself and see that it’s not healthy for us… Your family can cause you a lot of pain and heartache.”

We hope they work it out!

How ’bout some televised family therapy on Tori & Dean?

Tori & Dean Respond

wenn53336162.jpg

Last month, we mentioned how Tori Spelling's estranged mother, Candy Spelling, wrote a public letter to Tori basically bashing her nonstop.

And, even more surprising, she accused Tori and hubby Dean McDermott of using her grandchildren as "reality show props."

You know, cuz Candy has to write this letter since she claims Tori wont answer her calls, texts, or emails. But we're guessing stopping by Tori's house is out of the question.

Now it's Tori and Dean's turn to respond to Candy's remarks.

When the couple were spotted at the airport this weekend, the paps quickly asked Tori if she had read her mom's public letter, to which Tori simply said, "I haven't read anything. We've been on vacation and soooo happy."

But Dean comes to their defense and says, "We don't use our children as props, we take really good care of our children, we love our children … everyone's entitled to their opinion."

And there you have it.

We expect Candy to respond shortly.
