Wow! What did we just watch?!
Check out the fun show (above) and share your thoughts in the comments!
P.S. We loved watching Bey's Formation in real time! Take what's yours, girl!
Holy crap, True Detective!
OK, for everyone saying that nothing happens in Season 2, obviously that's all changed now.
The decision to spend almost the entire first episode on character backstory was not a very popular one, but we're guessing bringing things to a head this early isn't exactly what fans had in mind!
The second ep was all about the early legwork of the murder investigation by detectives Rachel McAdams, Colin Farrell, and Taylor Kitsch and crook Vince Vaughn, who has a financial interest in solving the case.
It all seems very first-ten-minutes-of-Law & Order until things go True Detective Season 1-style crazy!
Warning: Spoilers ahead.
This time around, in Sunday's premiere, we have a new set of A-listers including Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch, and Colin Farrell – who're slated to solve a new crime in the (fictional) city of Vinci, CA.
It really wouldn't be True Detective without … a murder!
Well this one is equal parts funny and creepy!
Vince went on The Tonight Show to talk True Detective and everything else with host Jimmy Fallon, and in the process, reacted to news of his soon-to-be co-star coming up the suspect in a murder investigation!
As to be expected, Vaughn is bewildered — what a reveal and a night that must have been!
Ch-ch-check out Vince's telling of the story (below), and Colin, maybe you oughta be investigated on the next season of True Detective!
You can't handle the truth!
Jimmy Fallon's games are always fun, but there's probably none more revealing than True Confessions!
If you can't wait for the new season of True Detective — premiering Sunday on HBO — starring both Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn, then you're in luck! Jimmy sits down with both both the stars for a little good cop/bad cop!
In the game, each person opens an envelope, and it either has a true statement from their life or a fabricated story. The two other men then get to question and interrogate the person for 60 seconds and announce at the end if they are telling the truth or not!
So if you want to know if Colin was suspected of murder, or Jimmy got his head stuck in a fence or Vaughn played the King in The King and I, ch-ch-check out the clip (above)!
Colin Farrell has yet again proven he's a man of the people!
As we reported last month, the Irish actor applauded the citizens of Ireland for voting in favor of a law that legalized same-sex marriage on May 22, making it the first country to do so!
However, the groundbreaking ruling wasn't without its detractors.
Notably, the new ordinance was opposed by the Catholic Church.
Over the weekend, the 39-year-old thespian was at the Maui Film Festival where he gave the church a peace of his mind!
"It was really funny because one of the arguments when the vote went through was that the church came out and said, 'You know, this was a dark day for Ireland,' and all you could see was literally rainbows everywhere, posters of rainbows, T-shirts of rainbows, men and women hugging, men and men hugging, women and women hugging, and yet cut to, 'This is a dark day in the history of [Ireland].'"
The True Detective star clarifies what a 'dark day' truly is!
"A dark day in the history of a country is internal civil conflict and war and bloodshed."
We couldn't agree more!
The hunk has a personal connection to LGBT rights as his brother Eamon is openly gay and had to leave the country to legally marry his husband.
Farrell said about his sibling:
"He campaigned very and he himself out there. I mean, I was a bit concerned about him, he put himself on the line greatly for a cause that he believes in and a message that he wanted to see brought to the point of being a constitutional change and I'm sure he will be married [in Ireland] within the next year. He got married in Vancouver seven or eights years ago to his husband, but I think it's time he'll enjoy a home grown celebration."
We are so glad Colin is such a vocal advocate for gay marriage and we hope other celebs follow suit!

Season 2 of True Detective is just around the corner!
To get us excited, HBO has released two teasers of the upcoming crime drama, and they look just as intense — if not more — than the show's critically acclaimed first season!
If dialogue isn't your thing, the second teaser (below), titled Stand, provides a purely visual glimpse into the action packed new season, where we see shots that could very well rival the first season's intensity!
