It's reported that the TV producer contracted an infection after returning home from France with his wife nearly three weeks ago. The mogul is said to have been placed in the ICU to be treated for pneumonia — and was eventually placed on ventilator.

Tragic!

Unfortunately, the CEO of King World Productions' health deteriorated and was taken off life support. He died several hours later.

Michael was easily viewed as one of Hollywood's greatest TV producers with his daytime hits.

Our hearts go out to Michael's friends and family during this trying time.

David Letterman won the ratings battle on his final night on CBS!

David Letterman's final show on Wednesday night brought in his biggest ratings since 1994!

That's a major coup in the late night wars for CBS as they said goodbye to the funny man's 33-year late night career.

In fact, the Late Show with David Letterman registered a 4.1 rating in the coveted age 25-54 demographic, and in the 18-49 demographic Letterman logged a 3.1 rating.

What's all that mean? Really simply put: those ratings are his best single night performance since Oprah joined him on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater on December 1, 2005.

We're so glad she has the strength to tell her story!

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong has lived a tumultuous life, both on screen and off.

Not only has the 43-year-old witnessed domestic abuse growing up as a child, she experienced it with her late husband Russell Armstrong who committed suicide in 2011.

With all of the chaos surrounding her, the reality TV star confessed in an episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now? — airing this Saturday — that she masked the pain with plastic surgery.

The mother of one revealed:

"I spent the early part of my life trying to become someone that I wasn't and I think a lot of it has to do with the shame and the guilt and all of the things I was carrying from my past."

Taylor has accused Russell of grabbing her, shoving her, pulling her hair, and throwing objects at her.

In regards to her cosmetic surgery, she dishes:

"I got new lips and new breasts and changed my hair, changed my name… It was anything I could do to try to become someone else."

The Kansas-native was born Shana Hughes and prior to her marriage to Armstrong, went by Taylor Ford, a combination of her stepfather's last name, Taylor, and the last name of her idol, designer Tom Ford.

While we are appalled by the abuse she had to go through, we applaud Taylor's honesty and we hope it will give others suffering from domestic violence the strength to rise up from their surroundings.
