Rooney Mara As Tiger Lily Is NOT Making People Happy! Is There A Different Actress Who Should Play Her? See Who Else Has Been Tiger Lily HERE!
And the controversy has emerged!
The movie has definitely piqued our interest and, unfortunately, the interest of others.
Well, people are SUPER unhappy that Rooney has been casted as Tiger Lily because she is the Native American character in Peter Pan!
While Rooney is an incredibly talented actress, she is clearly not Native American!
People have suggested that Joe should have casted an ethnic actress in the role, which is a VERY valid point.
But it also got us curious as to who else has played the iconic role, and it seems there have been quite a few!
Ch-ch-check out the other ladies who've played Tiger Lily …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Rooney Mara Has Been Cast As Tiger Lily In The Upcoming Pan Film! Looks Like She's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo No More!
Hmmm…this is pretty innneresting!
Rooney Mara has, reportedly, been cast as Tiger Lily in the upcoming origin tale of Peter Pan, titled Pan!
Pan is going to be a "different take" on Peter's story and will follow the tale of an orphan boy who is taken, by magic obvi, to Neverland where he squares off against Blackbeard!
Sounds like fun to us!
We can't WAIT to see Hugh in the role of a villain, but if we're being honest, we can't quite get Rooney as Lisbeth Salander quite out of our heads…

Is Rooney Mara engaged??
Because if she isn’t, someone should really tell her left hand!
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo actress showed off a sparkly diamond stunner at Sundance this week which is sparking rumors that the ring was given to her by boyfriend Charlie McDowell!
Miz Mara was in Park City to support 30-year-old McDowell at the premiere of his latest film The One I Love, which he directed.
The first reports that Rooney and Charlie were dating came over two years ago. So that’s plenty of time to wait before getting engaged!

Holy crap, this sweater is amazeballs!
From afar, the actress looked like she was wearing your typical, boring all-black outfit, but upon closer inspection, we noticed the voluminous basketweave sleeves of her Balenciaga sweatshirt!
We love it! And we don't even hate Rooney's messy updo!
We'll never look at a sweatshirt the same way again!

After seeing her wear such a dramatic look in Dubai, we can’t help but feel a little disappointed by this!
While we appreciate the simplicity, the bulky number did nothing for the actress’ svelte figure and the strappy Givenchy sandals threw off the winter vibe we were getting from the knees up.
At least her fresh face and slicked-back hair were flattering!
Give us more of those dramatic gowns, gurl!!

Is it just us, or is there an ethereal glow about Rooney Mara in this dress??
The stunning actress attended the Oxford Charity Gala at the Dubai International Film Festival on Wednesday, and looked absolutely angelic in a floor-length custom Lanvin gown.
The dramatic flourish at the shoulder kept the ensem from being boring, and her Brian Atwood shoes assured that the number floated at the perfect height along the event’s red carpet.
Miz Mara made her look pop even further by rocking minimal makeup — aside from heavy eyebrows and a strikingly dark lip.

Rooney Mara made sure to leave her mark at the Roman Film Festival premiere of Her on Sunday night, joined by her fashionable co-stars.
The 28-year-old chose a white lurex dress by Balenciaga, featuring an inneresting caplet looking top.
And to top it all off, she paired her organza-veiled frock with white Brian Atwood sandals, a slicked back half-up, half-down ‘do, and a red pout.
With such a bold ensem, we expected Rooney to ooze confidence, but it seems even she didn’t feel comfortable!
