Can lightning strike twice?!
While One Direction prepares for its upcoming hiatus, many of the band members are pursuing side projects.
Such is the case with Louis Tomlinson!
The 23-year-old said

Well that didn't take very long.
When the only American on the panel for America's Got Talent announced that he would not be returning for Season 11, we were curious to see who would be his replacement.
Despite the fact that American Idol is about to air its final season next year on FOX, Simon will be lending his talents to NBC for 2016 instead.

"I just said, 'Enjoy it.' If I had been his age and someone had said, 'You're going to have a baby,' I'm not sure how I would have coped with it. But he did call me and I said, 'When you've embraced it, you'll be amazed how much you are going to love it. It will change your life for the better.'"
We're not sure what we love more, Simon's advice or the fact that the heartthrob still turns to the TV personality for advice!
As we previously reported, the-23-year-old confirmed he was expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth back in August.
However, the 56-year-old noted that if he could become accustomed to being a proud papa then the British cutie will do just fine.

This season of the hit singing competition started off with a twist when fans were put in control to decide which judge would coach each category!
But when Simon found out he would be coaching the "overs" category, he was legitimately ANGRY!
Upon hearing he would have to mentor the batch of middle aged contestants, the former American Idol judge was visibly annoyed — and even blurted out in front of the audience:
While most are upset by this news that seems like the beginning of the group's end, their boss Simon Cowell promises that time off is just what the boys need!
The X Factor judge, who assembled 1D back in 2010, revealed that he has known the hiatus was coming.
