This is a bit surprising.

The lovely and talented Amanda Bynes on a date this week!

After reportedly "dating" multi-millionaire Seth MacFarlane, you'd think Bynes sure knows how to pick 'em. And maybe she does - and maybe she doesn't.

Turns out Bynes was spotted out with that dude from The Hills that pretended to date Lauren Conrad for a bit, Doug Reinhardt.

His official website, why he would need one we don't know, says "Doug Reinhardt is a gentleman with a strong drive for success in all aspects of his life. His sense of humor is contagious and his charm is breathtaking. Doug has always had strong morals and set his goals early in life."

Bynes and The Hills guy apparently met at Hollywood nightclub Teddy's a bit before Thanksgiving. And the two have been spending a lot of time together ever since.

Hopefully Bynes won't be making any appearances on Beef Curtains' scripted reality TV show!

We decided to throw an impromptu house party on Saturday night - thanks Eric! - for no special occasion.

It wasn't anyone's birthday. We were just in town, we knew that a bunch of our friends were in town and since it's rare for so many of us to all be here at the same time, we thought it was the perfect opportunity for a party.

No expectations. No RSVPS.

And we honestly had the best time ever!

Some of our favoritest people in the world showed up, some you don't know and some you might - like Katy Perry, Mika, Josh Groban, Lady Gaga, Amanda Bynes, Emmy Rossum, Michelle Trachtenberg and Diane Warren.

We'd like to apologize to everyone for their hangover, but it sure was worth it!

The superstar that is Teddy Hilton made a new friend in the adorable Charlie Bynes!

On Sunday night, we made it out to the Velvet Margarita Cantina in Hollywood to celebrate Charlie and mommy Amanda Bynes's cover of Animal Fair magazine.

They're just friends, though. Sadly, we don't think Teddy is a gay doggie. We're not so sure about Charlie! ha ha
