PETA doesn't have a reputation of being subtle to get their point across.
In what's sure to be a semi-controversial ad, PETA got seksi Adrien Brody to lend his soothing voice for a commercial featuring the great ape!
Set in an interrogation room - the suicidal ape fiddles around with a loaded gun while Brody talks about how apes have been mistreated in Hollywood.
It's quite effective and scary!!!
Check it out for yourself by watching the video directly (above) !!!
OMG!! Baby gorillas are so freaking adorbz it's crazy!
We know that once they grow, the babies become adults and that means bone crushing strength!
But for now, this little gorilla is just a baby ape and… wait… there are two of them?!
Twin baby gorillas practicing beating on their chests, rolling around and just generally being super cute?
We wanna find that section of jungle and live there!!
Check out the video (above) for some seriously cute baby gorillas monkeying around! LOLz!

The illegal wildlife trade is literally a multibillion-dollar industry!
The same type of trafficking that's almost made tigers extinct is now threatening great apes!
Chimps, orangoutangs, gorillas and bonobos are all being plucked from their natural habitats and bought by private collectors or disreputable zoos.
The numbers are cray cray!

Sometimes, life can get you down at the half way point….
Just ask humans….and apes too?!?!
Scientists have published a study stating that humans tend to be unhappiest in their 40's. This low point comes after a peak in the 20's, and before another peak in the 70's.
In the same study, zoos surveyed over 500 chimps and orangutans on happiness and shockingly, apes experience the same U-shaped happiness range.

Woody Harrelson was the driving force behind an initiative to get the army to stop using chimps in their experiments.
Now he has set his sights on California Senator Barbara Boxer, the chair of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works.
He wrote her a letter on PETA's behalf, asking her to join the over 160 senators and representatives who support the Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act.
These acts would stop the use of chimps and other great apes in testing in the U.S. and save tax payers millions.
An excerpt from the letter reads:

When PETA and Anjelic Huston found out that CareerBuilder would be using chimps in their $3.5 million Super Bowl ad, they were angered.

Many apes are tested and experimented on for their entire lives.
Some live in cages no larger than a small table top.
Along with all the activists trying to help the chimps, James Franco and Kevin Nealon have decided to pitch in.
Check them out in the above video.
